Zero Waste Station Pop-ups – a perfect volunteering opportunity!

Race to Zero Waste hosts Zero Waste Station pop-ups across the San Francisco Bay Area! Look for our dates on social media and below during event season. Our public events season runs from March to October.

We are actively fundraising and building partnerships to host these ZW Stations across the country. If you’d like to learn more or feature our program in your neighborhood, park, or school ground please reach out at [email protected]. We’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in volunteering! Learn how you can volunteer with us or join us as a Zero Waste Trainee

Dolores Park Zero Waste Station Pop-ups – every weekend and major holiday – May through October!

Race to Zero Waste provides public zero waste education at our signature Zero Waste Station Pop-ups in Dolores Park, San Francisco in collaboration with the Love Dolores Project. Each Saturday, Sunday, and on major holidays, R20W provides education, quality control, and hauling for this zero waste project. R20W encourages reuse, recycling, and composting as waste diversion measures, guiding and assisting park-goers with appropriate waste sorting, in addition to informing park-goers on source reduction measures (reduce waste in the first place!). We have implemented campaigns such as #Ditch6 to reduce the use of hard-to-recycle number six plastics, and our annual #ZeroWasteMonth campaign in October. We welcome volunteers for these events, please fill out this form if you’re interested!
