Implementing Reusables at Colleges and Universities

Race to Zero Waste is actively working with California State University (CSU) East Bay and Ohlone College in Alameda County to improve the sustainability on the campuses. We are leveraging student Zero Waste Ambassadors to help educate the student population on using reusables in the dining halls and emphasizing the importance of returning the containers. This work from 2022-2024 has been made possible through grants from the Altamont Education Advisory Board.

Please contact us if you are interested in technical assistance for the expansion of zero waste education and reusables on your campus.
